A recent trip to an Eden event held at a holiday park in Bognor Regis ws pretty awesome. Lisa and her driver, Kaz very kindly picked us both up from Fidget Towers for an interesting night out. Now i don’t know if i’m just getting old or something, but one of the best bits of the night was the car journey. Lisa’s car is well good. Another highlight of the night was meeting studio regular and good friend Paul Morrell, who was also playing in the main room alongside Lisa and Jules. Paul also captured some of the event on video. See below.
Xmas 2007 is here, and for the first time, we’ve actually got enough people involvded in Fidget to hold a Fidget Xmas Party….
Our night out, something a little different from the dance scene, was a boogie nights 70’s & 80’s theme, full fancy dress (of course!)
Our new office girl Vicky, was missed, as unfortunately, she was seriously ill at the time of the event. Paul Taylor (A&R) for the Fidget label arrived with Shaz, Charlie and myself were also there. A fantastic night was has. Here are some absolutly ridiculous random photos.
Third time lucky, - I’ve ditched moveable type after problems with 4.01 and am now giving WordPress a try. The last month i’ve been unable to update anything, but there’s loads that’s happened, so i’ll get back up to date asap…..
Lisa Lashes 2007 remix of Unbelievable which I engineered for her earlier this year at the Fidget Studio has hit number 1 on the Track It Down top 10 ! - Tom Shocks Synthetic is also still in the top 10 at time of writing as is Lisa Lashes’ and Anne Savages Red Admiral track which was also engineered here at the Fidget Studio. These leaflets seem to have popped up in most shops / petrol stations. Has anyone else noticed that the example proof of age card on the front of all these leaflets has actually got the wrong age on it? It shows an example of an 18+ card, but if the girl on the pic was born in 1990 like it says, that makes her 17. Oops. I noticed on the Citizen Card website they have changed her date of birth to 1989. I’m guessing they’ve already printed hundreds of thousands of the leaflets, so too late to change them !
The interview is in advance of Yojo and Colin’s Cyberkitten event this Friday which has been voted Best Small Club. Looking forward to playing there this Friday, it’s gonna be a good one
I’ve passed signs for this thing countless times on the way to and from gigs where i’m on the m69/m1. So, after years of wondering, here begins our own mission to find out what’s there.
As the name suggests, it’s a place about space! Lots of interactive things to have a look around and play on, which gives an insight into space and the universe. Interesting stuff really.
We happened to arrive on a day that was themed around star wars. We took part in a quiz at one point which was in the auditorium and it used an audience response system (similar to ask the audience on who wants to be a millionaire) to gather the answers. Whilst alan aardvark was dissapointed to have gotten a question wrong, I kept quiet about the fact that I only got two questions right! That aside, it was an interesting day out. And I got to see a real life meteor which was on display. Cool, I no longer need to wonder what’s there!
